From 1989 Johnson Park Anniversary booklet, Ron Reinhart research on attendance show almost 40,000 attended Brewer games that season. Article documents attendance records from 1939 through 1960 including the 10-year-period of 1945 through 1954 when crowds averaged 1,000. In 1951 average attendance as almost 1,500.
