After losing a tough 5-4 decision to No. 1 ranked Apple Valley, New Ulm Gold remained alive in the State American Legion baseball tournament by beating Hopkins 4-1 in the elimination bracket.

Tournament pairings released today have paired New Ulm Gold as the host team with the currently ranked No. 1 American Legion baseball team in Minnesota.

JACKSON/WINDOM - New Ulm Gold and Mankato National will meet again Saturday for the championship of the District 2 American Legion Division 1 championship. Mankato had defeated New Ulm earlier.
