ST. PAUL - MLC safety Galen Holzhueter was named UMAC Defensive Player of the Week Tuesday for his performance in the football team's 41-14 win over Crown last weekend.
The move to create 15 different "sub-state zones" to replace the current alignment of districts has been explained by the American Legion baseball board.

Volleyball, men's soccer and football players from Martin Luther College were honored this week with player-of-the-week recognition by the Upper Midwest Atheltic Conference.
